A group of people from different backgrounds have one thing in common: when they hear the world "gumball" whispered by one of the others, they know that it's time for the Gumball Rally: a no-holds barred, secret, winner-take-all rally across the USA.

The first half shows the cast being interviewed in character and provides movie plot back story. The second half shows behind-the-scenes filming, including cast and crew interviews.

In an attempt to rebuild the Gumball brand and reputation,the rally was set entirely in the United States distancing the rally from the fatalities in Europe two years prior. The route was from Santa Monica to Miami.

The Amazing Trousers tells the tale of a mild bank clerk who enters into a Faustian pact with a sinister tailor, agreeing to trade his legs after one year in return for enjoying glorious success. The success is brought on by a pair of red trousers...amazing red trousers.

Henry Howard, an ambitious young scientist struggles to develop a super human serum designed to improve muscle mass and prolong life expectancy. His boss, the grumpy General Darwin, will not allow Hank to marry his daughter, Hannah, until the experiment is a success. Against Darwin's wishes Hank proposes to Hannah anyway, but his life is shattered by a mugger who steals his engagement ring. Dejected, Hank injects himself with the experimental serum and is transformed into the Amazing Bulk. The Bulk goes on a rampage through the city destroying everything in his path. Hank is caught by a relentless detective, imprisoned by Darwin and forced to battle the sadistic Dr. Kantlove, who threatens to blow up the moon with his arsenal of weapons.

When the daughter of a once-famous magician eclipses his waning career with truth-based performances, he tries to win back his audience, but takes his attempt too far.
